Prezi - May 8, 2013
Prezi is an online, PowerPoint alternative. This program challenges us to shift our thinking from linear to holistic. It also offers just-in-time learning by allowing the user to go "off the path" to investigate a topic or question most relevant to the study. Prezi.com offers free teacher accounts allowing a teacher to store up to 500 MB of presentations. Thousands of Prezis have been made public on the website so a teacher may find a needed topic has already been done! And don't start recreating all your old PowerPoints. Prezi allows you to import slides and restructure the content into a Prezi. A Prezi can also be shared for users to collaborate on one Prezi and can be emailed or embedded onto a website for easy viewing by others.
