Students will practice their skills in Excel by independently building a spreadsheet and chart while following written directions. Then answer questions on this sheet about the spreadsheet. Save the answer sheet in your folder.

Students will be learning how to analyze their Typing Web results in Excel by calculating the Average, Maximum and Minimum speeds. They will also learn how to professionally format a spreadsheet and create a line chart representing their typing data.

The students will spend this week working on Typing Web lessons. All Beginner lessons should be completed by Mid-Term Exams (November 4). Grades will be given based on the rubric at the bottom of this page.

The students will not be coming to computer lab during these weeks. Our school is taking an online assessment called MAPS. You should receive information about this from your child's homeroom teachers.

Students will be creating accounts in Edmodo. This is an online tool for teachers to interact with students. Teachers will be putting assignments on Edmodo and students will be expected to communicate using this tool. This is a closed group and each student will be given his/her own username and password.
